Zep, Inc. announced today the completion and startup of their newest AFCO production facility in Kingman’s Industrial Park. This facility brings new skilled employment opportunities to the area and positions AFCO to better serve customers across the western United States.
AFCO is a leading provider of cleaning, sanitation, intervention, and water treatment solutions to the food and beverage processing industry. AFCO provides a comprehensive portfolio of customized chemistry and equipment solutions, consulting services, and tracking and training programs to help customers build brands, mitigate risks, and control costs.

“Our investment in Kingman better supports our existing customers in Arizona and the surrounding states,” said AFCO General Manager Bob Klinetob. “This location enables AFCO to fulfill incremental market demand for our differentiated solutions in this area.
AFCO’s facility in Kingman will create approximately 25 jobs over the next two years. Zep will expand the AFCO Kingman facility in phases, potentially to include additional capacity additions to support other Zep, Inc. businesses.
“We see Kingman as vital to our business for several reasons – proximity to our expanding markets, easy access to highway and rail networks, the available skilled labor market, and strong support from the Kingman community and leadership,” said Jim Weathers, Zep EVP and Chief Value Chain Officer.
“As a leading innovator and manufacturer of consumer and industrial products, Zep is a valued addition to Arizona’s manufacturing landscape,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “We are grateful Zep has chosen to invest in Kingman, creating jobs for Arizonans and advancing rural economic development in the state.”
