UEFA say 16,500 fans at Champions League final with Chelsea and City
Portuguese authorities will allow 16,500 fans in at the final between and at the Estadio do Dragao in Portugal on Saturday.
That number equates to 33 per cent of the stadium’s 50,000 capacity with 1,700 more tickets for the general public going on sale at 1pm in the afternoon of May 25 via UEFA.
Each finalist has an allocation of 6,000 tickets and each fan must have proof of a negative test.A PCR test can be carried out from May 26 onwards while a lateral flow test will stand from May 28.

Saturday’s showpiece event was moved from the Ataturk Stadium in istanbul escort to Portugal when Turkey was placed on the British government’s red list of travel destinations.
There were plans from the government to try and stage the final at Wembley because both clubs are from England but it wasn’t possible for UEFA to secure quarantine exemptions for the 2,000 VIPS attending the final.
Supporters from both clubs will arrive in Portugal on Saturday with a strict plan in place to escort them to the stadium and back to the airport.
Fans will arrive on a chartered flight and be kept in a Covid bubble, spending less than 24 hours overall in the country.

Premier League winners Manchester City are favourites to win the final on Saturday, where victory would hand them their first ever Champions League triumph.
Chelsea have beaten City twice already this season, though.The London club defeated Pep Guardiola’s men 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-final in April and 2-1 on May 8, the first fixture for both teams after qualifying for this weekend’s final.
Chelsea finished fourth in the Premier League despite a 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa on Sunday.
