Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:), which rose 3.83% or 0.94 points to trade at 25.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:) added 2.88% or 3.00 points to end at 107.00 and Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (SE:) was up 2.58% or 1.50 points to 59.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:), which fell 5.58% or 1.36 points to trade at 23.02 at the close. Dur Hospitality (SE:) declined 5.38% or 1.90 points to end at 33.40 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:) was down 4.23% or 0.74 points to 16.76.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 162 to 60 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.23% or 0.74 to 16.76.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 3.00% or 3.18 to $109.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.83% or 3.09 to hit $112.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 8.15 to trade at $1,992.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.64% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 99.11.
